In-person absentee voting begins; sample ballots available

The Franklin County Board of Elections opened in-person absentee voting for the Nov. 3 General Election today, and voters may now view a sample ballot online.
In-person absentee voting will take place at the Board of Elections, located at 280 East Broad Street in Columbus. Absentee voting will end Monday, Nov. 2. The office is closed Oct. 12 in observance of Columbus Day.
In-Person Absentee Voting Hours
- Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Saturday, Oct. 31: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Voters may also register to vote and vote at the same time starting today through Oct. 5.
Sample Ballots
Franklin County voters may now view their ballot by searching by name at the Board of Elections website. By entering their first and last name and choosing their record, voters may open a sample of the ballot they will see on Election Day. Voters can also double-check their polling place and even get directions to their polling place.
