The Metro Columbus League's own Ann Henkener has been selected to serve on a national study committee examining privatization of government services.
In addition to serving as the Metro League's board secretary, Henkener is state legislative director for the Ohio League.
Other committee members were selected from Leagues in San Diego (CA), Nashville (TN), Hampton (VA), Los Altos (CA), Seattle (WA), and Simpsonville (SC). Janis McMillen, a member of the national board, will chair the committee.
Over the next few months, the committee will be doing research and defining the scope of the study. Finalization of the study scope is anticipated by June 2011.
