Redistricting competition will let voters draw the lines
Tuesday, Jun. 21, 2011
This year, the Ohio Apportionment Board and the Ohio General Assembly will create new districts that will affect who will represent Ohio voters in Congress and in the Statehouse.
Manipulated lines mean manipulation of voters. Improvements in computer software will enable voters to participate in redistricting more fully during 2011. Ohio Redistricting Competition is a partnership of the League of Women Voters of Ohio, the Midwest Democracy Network, and Ohio Citizen Action.
